MKS Bolesłavia Bolesławiec was among the sports clubs honored by the Lower Silesian Voivodeship Government for achievements in sports competition in 2025.
The ceremonial award presentation took place on Monday, June 22, 2026, in Wrocław. The honor was accepted on behalf of the club by the president of MKS Bolesłavia Bolesławiec, Krzysztof Ramza. The value of the award was PLN 4,300.
The honor confirms the systematic work of the athletes, coaches, and all those involved in the club’s activities. MKS Bolesłavia’s presence among the best clubs in Lower Silesia confirms the effectiveness of many years of training and organizational efforts, which translate into both sporting results and the club’s position in the voivodeship rankings.
The club extends its thanks to the athletes for their sporting ambition and commitment, the coaches for their daily training work, the parents for their organizational support, and all supporters and people helping develop athletics in Bolesławiec.
As the club’s vice-president Tomasz Markowskireported, the trip to Wrocław also had a less official element—the participants got stuck in a traffic jam on the A4 motorway. Most importantly, however, the award reached the club safely.
