The incident occurred on Thursday (25 August) in Trzebień. The man was on temporary leave from prison and was staying with his wife. He suddenly started causing a disturbance. At one point, he jumped from the window of an apartment on the third floor. The man suffered serious injuries. He was transported by helicopter to a hospital in Zielona Góra with a spinal injury. It is not yet known whether the man was under the influence of alcohol.
The man is 25 years old. He is known to the police. We previously received incorrect information that the man was staying with his concubine.
