A 20-year-old resident of Bolesławiec was arrested by officers of our department’s Criminal Investigation Division. A warrant was issued for his transfer to a prison. He is to serve a sentence of one year and four months in prison.
The resident of Bolesławiec was wanted by the District Court in Jelenia Góra in connection with crimes he committed when he was still 18. The charges against him included, among other things, participating in assaults.
The actions of the criminal investigators led to establishing the man’s whereabouts and arresting him. After the necessary procedures were completed, he was taken to a police unit.
The arrested man was then placed in prison, where he will serve the custodial sentence imposed by the court.
Police remind the public that people hiding from the enforcement of final judgments are systematically located and brought in to serve their sentences.
