Update
The resolution was adopted unanimously. All 20 councillors voted in favour.
One of the items on the agenda of the June session of the Bolesławiec City Council was to be a vote on a draft resolution concerning the naming of an internal road. The document states:
(…) The internal road located in Bolesławiec, within plot no. 471/4, precinct no. 0006, Bolesławiec-6, co-owned by private individuals, shall be given the name “Lawendowa”.
The justification also stated, among other things:
The co-owners of plot no. 471/4 (precinct: 0006, Bolesławiec-6) submitted an application to the Mayor of Bolesławiec to give it the name “Lawendowa Street”. The newly created “Lawendowa Street” is located in a peripheral part of the city of Bolesławiec, near Wrzosowa, Jagodowa and Sosnowa Streets.
It was also noted that:
Determining the new street name covered by this resolution is connected with the need to ensure proper and clear sequential numbering for the properties located in its vicinity and intended for development, in accordance with the rules set out in the Regulation of the Minister of Development, Labour and Technology of 21 July 2021 on the register of localities, streets and addresses (Journal of Laws of 2021, item 1368). Moreover, naming the road will make it easier to identify it in the field. In view of the above, it is justified to submit the draft resolution for consideration by the Bolesławiec City Council.
