Heat is coming to Bolesławiec: temperatures will reach 34°C

The last few days in the Bolesławiec area and throughout Bolesławiec County brought noticeably cooler and rather changeable weather. Heavy cloud cover prevailed, along with passing and locally heavier rain, while daytime temperatures often did not exceed a dozen or so degrees Celsius.

Last Friday and throughout the weekend, the weather was particularly unpleasant – damp, windy and decidedly unlike typical summer conditions. The weather over the region was highly changeable. We experienced passing storms accompanied by strong winds and torrential rain. It should be stressed, however, that in the face of the ongoing drought, the rain was and remains very much needed.

For everyone longing for warmth and heat, however, we have good news – the situation will soon begin to change noticeably. Much warmer air is expected to reach the region on Friday, bringing a rapid and perceptible rise in temperature, while the end of the week will even be hot.

According to the available weather forecasts, the coming weekend is expected to be sunny and hot:

on Friday – June 19 – the daytime temperature will reach 30°C,
on Saturday – June 20 – it is expected to be even warmer. Thermometers will show as much as 34°C,
on Sunday – June 21 – the hot weather will continue. Thermometers will show 32°C.
