In the CTIF Sports and Firefighting Competition (Comité Technique International de prévention et d'extinction de Feu, the oldest international firefighting organization, founded in 1900 in Paris and bringing together professional and volunteer firefighters) for Youth Fire Brigades, held on 13 June in Bolesławiec, 10 teams representing units from Bolesławiec County took part. The competition was an opportunity not only for sports competition, but also to test the skills, discipline and preparedness of young firefighting trainees.

Participants faced events requiring cooperation, precision and good organization of activities. The competition took place in an atmosphere of sporting rivalry and mutual support, while the final results were often decided by details.

In the main classification, MDP Różyniec achieved the best result among the girls’ teams, taking first place.

In the boys’ team category, MDP Wykroty emerged victorious. MDP Gierałtów also stood on the podium, taking second place, while MDP Godzieszów secured third place.

The Youth Fire Brigades’ drill competition was also decided. Among the girls’ teams, MDP Różyniec was once again the best. In the boys’ category, MDP Nowogrodziec II won, MDP Tomaszów Bolesławiecki took second place, and third place went to MDP Nowogrodziec I.

The final results confirmed the high level of preparation of the young firefighters, as well as the commitment of their supervisors and local units.

The event was organized by the Oddział Powiatowy ZOSP RP w Bolesławcu in cooperation with the Komenda Powiatowa Państwowej Straży Pożarnej w Bolesławcu. The Kolegium Sędziów Zawodów Strażackich OW ZOSP RP Województwa Dolnośląskiego supervised the proper conduct of the events.
