The Bolesławiec District Police Headquarters is receiving additional staff. Of the 70 new officers who took their ceremonial oath on 11 June, two female police officers will begin serving at the Bolesławiec unit after completing their basic training.

The ceremonial event took place at the headquarters of the Lower Silesian Provincial Police in Wrocław and had a solemn character. The newly appointed officers recited the words of the oath, officially beginning their professional careers in the force.

The event was attended by the Provincial Police Commander in Wrocław together with the unit’s leadership. During the ceremony, the importance of serving the safety of the region’s residents and the responsibility associated with carrying out police duties were emphasized.

The presence of family members and loved ones, who accompanied the new officers as they began a new stage in their professional lives, was also an important moment for them.

The officers will not yet begin direct service at their units. The next stage will be basic training, which will last more than six months. Only after completing it will the officers be assigned to municipal and district headquarters throughout the Lower Silesian Voivodeship.

For Bolesławiec residents, this means that the local headquarters will receive additional staff support in the coming months. The two new female officers are ultimately expected to join the ranks of KPP Bolesławiec and begin serving the safety of the county’s residents.

The Lower Silesian Police also reminds the public that recruitment for service is ongoing. Candidates may submit their documents both at the Provincial Police Headquarters in Wrocław and at municipal and district units throughout the voivodeship.
