Within three days, five people suspected of possessing drugs were apprehended by police. On August 10, officers patrolling the city noticed a group of people. At the sight of the uniformed officers, a 25-year-old man began behaving strangely. As it turned out, the 25-year-old was carrying 12 portions of marijuana. He had hidden the drugs in a packet of cigarettes.
Meanwhile, on August 11, officers from Warta Bolesławiecka detained two people—a 21-year-old man and a 19-year-old woman—in whose car they found amphetamine. The suspects were taken into police custody. Two days earlier, police officers from Warta had apprehended two young residents of Bolesławiec. They had 12 portions of marijuana and 5 portions of amphetamine on them. They had hidden the narcotics in a sock and in a packet of cigarettes.
All five now face up to three years in prison.
