The incident occurred on May 12. In the morning, ​volunteer firefighters from OSP Nowogrodziec were dispatched to an elderly person who had suffered sudden cardiac arrest. Upon arriving at the scene, the firefighters immediately began providing Qualified First Aid (KPP).

​When the emergency medical team arrived at the scene, the rescuers jointly continued resuscitation efforts, which restored the vital functions of the injured person.

The rescuers fought for the senior’s life for 10 minutes. Fortunately, the man was saved. He was taken to hospital.
