We reported on the case on 22 July this year. Two days earlier, Jan Ch., a resident of Gromadka, first killed his own cat and then used a rubber club to beat a dog tied to a chain and two puppies. The suspect was apprehended by police officers on 21 July. He told them that he had killed the animals because he had drunk too much.
During questioning, the man admitted guilt and agreed to the sentence proposed by the prosecutor – 10 months in prison. The proceedings are ongoing. The sentence may change. We will return to the case.
