During the operation, officers from the Criminal Division of the District Police Headquarters in Bolesławiec detained the man. Police had obtained information indicating that a resident of a neighboring county might possess intoxicating substances.

Criminal investigators entered the 39-year-old’s apartment and conducted a thorough search. It turned out that the drugs had been hidden in an unusual place—in the headrest of a corner sofa. Officers secured four types of substances: amphetamine, methamphetamine, MDMA and marijuana.

The total weight of the secured drugs was nearly 300 grams.

The man was detained.

The 39-year-old has already been charged with possessing a significant quantity of intoxicating substances. The prosecutor decided to apply preventive measures against the suspect, including police supervision and a ban on leaving the country.

Possessing a significant quantity of drugs is punishable by imprisonment from one to 10 years.
