As reported by the District Prosecutor’s Office in Jelenia Góra, during a search of the premises occupied by the suspect, officers discovered approximately 500 grams of dried cannabis other than fibre hemp. They also seized 122 grams of methamphetamine, 56 MDMA tablets and approximately 40 grams of hallucinogenic mushrooms.

After being brought before the prosecutor’s office, the 25-year-old was charged with possessing a significant quantity of drugs. Investigators indicate that the act was classified under Article 62(2) of the Act on Counteracting Drug Addiction.

The suspect pleaded not guilty and refused to give an explanation. The prosecutor’s office also reported that the man had previously been convicted.

At the investigators’ request, the District Court ordered the suspect’s temporary detention for a period of three months. The alleged offense carries a sentence of one to 10 years in prison.
