The first incident took place on Saturday, 11 April 2026. At 6:07 p.m., firefighters from Trzebień were dispatched to Stara Oleszna, where a rubbish fire had broken out.
Two OSP Trzebień units took part in the operation, quickly extinguishing the fire and securing the area.
The next intervention took place the following day – on Sunday, 12 April. At 6:39 p.m., the firefighters were dispatched to Golnice. This time, the report concerned a field fire.
One unit of firefighters was sent to the scene and quickly began firefighting operations, preventing the fire from spreading further.
Although neither incident was large in scale, the emergency services stress that even small fires can quickly get out of control in favourable conditions. This applies particularly to dry areas and places where flammable materials are present.
The firefighters appeal to residents to exercise caution and avoid actions that could lead to a fire. Spring conditions favour grass and wasteland fires, which is why every spark can pose a real threat.
