On Friday, 10 April, the district-level qualifiers of the National Fire Safety Knowledge Tournament “Young People Prevent Fires” were held at the Janusz Korczak 2nd General Secondary School in Bolesławiec. The event was organised by the Bolesławiec County Branch Board of ZOSP RP, and the tournament was held, among other things, with the support of the Bolesławiec County Headquarters of the State Fire Service.👨🚒

The aim of the tournament is to promote knowledge of fire protection, safety rules and appropriate behaviour in hazardous situations—and once again, young people from our county proved that they can demonstrate not only theoretical knowledge but also practical thinking.
The participants’ competition consisted of a written test and an oral section.🚒🧯
Who supervised the proper conduct of the competition?
Representatives of the Bolesławiec County Headquarters of the State Fire Service supervised the proper conduct of the competition. The examination committee consisted of:
- junior aspirant Krzysztof Kaczyński – chair,
- aspirant Andrzej Rutyna – member,
- junior fire officer Michał Brzezowski – member.
The event was also attended by the deputy commander of the Bolesławiec County Headquarters of the State Fire Service, junior brigadier Mateusz Dąbrowa, who observed the participants’ competition and, together with Stanisław Zółtański, president of the Bolesławiec County Branch Board of ZOSP RP, presented awards to the winners. 👨🚒🚒
