A reader informed us that several of the same cars regularly park in the courtyard on Fabryczna Street in Bolesławiec. “They are the same drivers all the time,” the person reporting it explained.
What surprises our interlocutor is that the drivers in question park in the courtyard even at weekends, while there is a car park nearby where there is usually plenty of free space. And which, after all, is free at weekends.
The man stresses that he reported the matter to the Municipal Police repeatedly. This was as far back as summer 2024. The result? According to our reader – “zero”.
The resident of Fabryczna Street wonders whether the drivers in question park there with the permission of the Municipal Police. And if so, he would like to know the legal basis. “Is this a car park for smart-alecks?” the reader asks.
What is more, the man informed us that on 7 February 2026 the fire service wanted to reach a building on Fabryczna Street and could not enter because of a car parked there – improperly, according to the reader.

Accordingly, there was also no record of any extension of the response time or any danger resulting from restricted access for emergency services.
And added:
At the same time, it should be stressed that parking a vehicle in breach of applicable regulations or outside designated spaces may cause difficulties in carrying out rescue and firefighting operations. In particular, improperly parked vehicles may restrict or prevent emergency-service vehicles, including fire-protection units, from passing, which directly affects the level of safety of residents.
We have not yet received a response from the Bolesławiec Municipal Police.
