As reported by the 10th Armored Cavalry Brigade in Świętoszów:

(...) since January 18 this year, our colleague – platoon soldier Denis Mądry – has remained in a coma following surgery to remove hematomas from his brain. After a month of fighting in the intensive care unit, his condition stabilized enough for him to be transported to a private specialist medical facility, where he is currently staying.

As the uniformed officers emphasize, Denis’s health remains very serious – he has not regained consciousness after a severe knockout and requires round-the-clock specialist care and intensive neurological treatment. The unit says: – The facility where he is staying provides him with the necessary therapy, but the cost of treatment is enormous – approximately PLN 35,000 per month.

It adds:

Today, we can all provide real support to Denis and his loved ones in this difficult fight. We encourage you to donate 1.5% of your tax when filing your 2025 PIT return. The Society for the Promotion of Physical Culture “OLIMP” from Legnica, of which Denis is a member, has made its KRS number available to help collect funds for treatment. All payments made in 2026 to the indicated number will be allocated entirely to Denis’s treatment.

That’s not all!

A boxing tournament will be held

On April 11, a charity boxing tournament called “Fighting for Denis’s Health” will be held in Lubań to support Denis’s rehabilitation. The brigade says:

This special event combines sporting competition with real help. The program includes, among other things, boxing matches, demonstrations, auctions and a charity zone.

The soldiers emphasize:

All proceeds from the event will be allocated to Denis’s treatment and rehabilitation.

They add:

We encourage everyone to take part and support this initiative. Your presence, sharing the information or any form of help is of great importance.
