The incident occurred on March 16, during the late morning hours. As a Reader informed us:
(...) in the village of Tomaszów Bolesławiecki, an elderly woman living alone was attacked and robbed.
And published a photograph of both the car and the two suspected foreigners.
We asked the police about the case. The police headquarters informed us that an 87-year-old resident of Warta Bolesławiecka municipality was robbed by a woman. Losses: PLN 600.
The suspects have not yet been arrested. Proceedings are underway “under Article 278a of the Criminal Code,” concerning brazen theft. The perpetrator—or perpetrators, if it turns out that the man in the photograph was her accomplice—could face up to eight years in prison.
