Officers from the Police Station in Kruszyna—immediately after receiving a report of the theft—took action and detained the perpetrator. The police: – He turned out to be a 45-year-old resident of Warta Bolesławiecka municipality, who stole a two-wheeler worth PLN 2,000 from private property. The man was charged.

At the same time, police officers from the station began intensive efforts to recover the missing property.
The result? The very next day, police detained a man suspected of handling stolen goods, who had bought the bicycle originating from the crime for... PLN 100.
Further actions by the officers led to the recovery of the stolen two-wheeler. The fence was also charged.
Theft is punishable by up to 5 years in prison, while handling stolen goods is punishable by up to 2 years in prison.
