On June 25 and 26, Osiecznica Commune Days took place. On Saturday at 10:00, the Commune Firefighting Competition began. The winners were firefighters from Parowa. The OSP team from Ławszowa came second, while the OSP team from Osiecznica came third.

That day, the Football Tournament for the Osiecznica Commune Head’s Cup was also held at the Orlik. Eight teams took part in the competition. In the younger-junior category, Osiecznica 1 triumphed. The team from Doberschau (Germany) came second, and the team from Nowa Wieś came third. Among the tramp players, the best were players from Nowa Wieś. The team from Tomisław came second, while the team from Przejęsław came third. The tournament’s top scorer in the younger-junior category was Maciej Lewkowicz, while among the tramp players it was Wojciech Ostrowski (both from Nowa Wieś).

Visitors could also watch dance performances by the Elektroszok, Desperado and Chach-mu Chacha groups, as well as by the Tierra Flamenca dance school, along with a performance by an illusionist. There was also no shortage of musical attractions. The following performed on stage: Biesiada KGB and the Boney M. Imitation and Plus bands.

On Sunday, another edition of the Skate-Marathon was held. Almost 300 people took part in the competition. The winner of the main race was Robert Kustra (Ambra-Cekol-Sylpol). Paweł Ciężki (SSW Malta) came second, while Daniel Gwadera (UKS Zryw Słomczyn) came third. Among the women, Ute Enger was the best. Ann-Ellinor Hofmann (both from Grossenhainer RV) came second, while Barbara Matczak came third.

In the 16-kilometre race, Kazimierz Grycman from Ciechowice was the first to cross the finish line. Jarosław Krystkowiak came second, while Leszek Nowak (both from SSW Malta Poznań) came third. Aleksandra Olszewska won the women’s category. Aleksandra Glamowska (UKS Orlica) came second, while Maja Szocińska (Maja Lucky Rider) came third.

In the race for the youngest participants, Radosław Jakubski (Cuprum Lubin Rollerblade) was the best. Alan Ciborowski (KS Speed Jasło) came second, and Clemens Marzahn (Speedskate-Club Meissen) came third. In the girls’ category, Izabela Żdan (Cuprum Lubin) took first place, ahead of Roksana Ciborowska (Speed Jasło) and Amelia Kołodziej from Tomisław.

That day, visitors could also watch a display of skill by the Youth Fire Brigade Team operating at the OSP in Osiecznica. The Nad Kwisą, Kapela Herbutów, Nasza Biesiada and Perełki Zagajnik-Wykroty bands performed for the audience. The celebration was organized by the Gminny Ośrodek Kultury i Sportu w Osiecznicy.
