At the request of the District Prosecutor in Bolesławiec, the court remanded a 21-year-old resident of Bolesławiec County in custody for three months. – The man is suspected of domestic violence against his mother and uncle, threatening to kill them, as well as abusing the dog – explains Ewa Węglarowicz-Makowska from the Regional Prosecutor’s Office in Jelenia Góra.
What did investigators establish?
It was established that from July 2025 to 27 February 2026, the perpetrator physically and mentally abused members of his family. The spokesperson:
The man is addicted to narcotic drugs and psychotropic substances and, while under their influence, started baseless arguments during which he called his mother and uncle vulgar and commonly regarded as insulting names, disturbed their nighttime rest, spat on them, damaged household equipment, and demanded that they support him
What is more, on 27 February 2026 he poured slops over his uncle and demanded that he move out of the apartment.
At that time, he also threatened the victims with death and abused the mixed-breed dog owned by his mother, repeatedly kicking it in the muzzle.
Prosecutor: – The victims feared that the threats would be carried out because the perpetrator was very aggressive toward them.
The man did not work anywhere and was supported by his mother.
The suspect, who partially admitted to committing the alleged acts and gave explanations, now faces up to five years in prison.
