Update
As we have established, the woman’s grandson reported the matter to the emergency services because he had been unable to contact his grandmother and the door was locked. The body of an 88-year-old woman was found in the apartment.
The incident occurred on March 7, after 7:00 p.m., in a building on Jana Pawła II Street in Bolesławiec. Emergency services were called to force open the apartment.
Firefighters, police officers and emergency medical personnel were present at the scene.
As we have established, a body was found at the scene. Medical procedures were discontinued due to visible signs of death.
The police and prosecutor’s office are investigating the cause and circumstances of the incident.
