On Sunday afternoon, Bolesławiec traffic police stopped a driver for inspection who, on the road leading into the city, already in a built-up area, exceeded the speed limit by 56 km/h. Police:
As a result of the offence, he lost his driving licence for 3 months. He was also fined PLN 1,500 and received 13 penalty points.
Police appeal to drivers not to let good weather encourage them to press the accelerator too hard. They remind everyone that observing speed limits is crucial for the safety of all road users.
