Bolesławiec County Head Tomasz Gabrysiak presented the most important activities of the County Board and his own initiatives carried out during the intersessional period.

An important item on the agenda was a presentation by the Director of St. Luke’s Hospital in Bolesławiec, Kamil Barczyk, on the strategy for consolidating the Bolesławiec facility with the Multispecialist Hospital – Healthcare Complex in Zgorzelec.

The councillors took note of the report by the Director of the Bolesławiec County Labour Office on the implementation of employment and unemployment prevention tasks in 2025, presented in the session materials. The Chair of the County Labour Market Council, meanwhile, presented measures taken to reduce unemployment.

The session also covered a report on the implementation of the Environmental Protection Programme for Bolesławiec County for 2023–2024.

In the resolution section, the County Council adopted resolutions concerning, among other things, changing the name of the Construction Schools Complex in Bolesławiec. As of 1 September 2026, the institution will operate under the new name: Technical and Architectural Schools Complex in Bolesławiec.

The councillors also decided to provide financial assistance to the Municipality of Bolesławiec and adopted resolutions on changing the Bolesławiec County budget for 2026 and updating the long-term financial forecast.
