Two months have passed since the Artillery Training Team left for Afghanistan. The team, commanded by Lieutenant Colonel Paweł Świtalski, has already completed a two-week training course at the Artillery School in Kabul. The Bolesławiec artillerymen are currently training Afghan soldiers in the FOB Lightning mission area.
The mission in Afghanistan is not only hard work. Our artillerymen also have time for rest, sport and entertainment. They can use well-equipped gyms and exercise rooms, and play billiards and table tennis. What is more, representatives of the ZSA (Captain Krzysztof Orszulik and Warrant Officer Albert Faryna) took first place in a table football tournament for the title of champions of the Lightning base.
