On February 11, 2026, in the evening hours, the body of a man was found in an apartment in Stary Węgliniec. – The prosecutor, together with Police officers, examined the scene and secured evidence – reports prosecutor Ewa Węglarowicz-Makowska from the Jelenia Góra District Prosecutor’s Office. – There are marks visible on the victim’s body that may indicate that her death occurred as a result of the actions of third parties.
The body was secured for the purpose of a forensic medical autopsy.
