The incident occurred on December 19, 2025. – The neighbor was reportedly acting aggressively and threatening the person who made the report. A police patrol was immediately dispatched to the scene and intervened against the aggressor – reports junior warrant officer Kamil Szpatowski from the Złotoryja KPP.
He adds: – During the intervention, the aggressive 50-year-old failed to comply with the officers’ orders to behave lawfully. On the contrary, using a crowbar, he committed an active assault on the police officers, attempting to strike them with a dangerous object. Thanks to the officers’ decisive and professional response, the man was subdued and arrested.
After his arrest, the 50-year-old was taken to and admitted to a psychiatric hospital. Once the evidence had been collected, the case was brought before the court, which, taking into account the nature of the acts and the real threat to the life and health of others, decided to place the suspect in pre-trial detention for three months.
The man will face charges including making criminal threats and actively assaulting police officers. Under the applicable regulations, he faces up to 10 years in prison.
