Police officers from Nowogrodziec detained a 26-year-old man from Osiecznica Municipality who, while driving under the influence of alcohol, failed to stop for a roadside check. Command:
Ignoring the police officers’ visual and audible signals, the man attempted to flee.
While driving, the 26-year-old lost control of the vehicle and hit a roadside tree. Fortunately, no bystanders were injured in the incident.
A breathalyzer test showed more than 1 per mille of alcohol in the system of the Osiecznica Municipality resident.

The man will be held responsible for driving while intoxicated and failing to stop for a roadside check. He faces up to 5 years in prison.
