The BMW driver was fined. The incident was classified as a collision.
The incident occurred before 6:00 a.m. As established by police officers from Bolesławiec, the BMW driver lost control of the vehicle and came to a stop across the roadway.
An Opel traveling in the opposite direction then struck it.
The offender, the BMW driver, was taken to hospital. It is not yet known how serious his injuries are.
Another collision—a rear-end crash—occurred in the traffic jam caused by the incident. Fortunately, no one suffered any more serious injuries.
The incident occurred on January 14. At 6:20 a.m., firefighters from Osiecznica were dispatched to an accident between Przejęsław and Świętoszów. Two cars collided there. One person was injured and received assistance from paramedics.
Police are establishing the causes and circumstances of the incident. Officers are appealing for caution and prudence on the road.
