The investment is being carried out as part of the project entitled “Creation of multifunctional places for local community activities through the construction of an open track for roller skaters and inline skaters on the Boulevard by the Bóbr River and a sports field on Graniczna Street in Bolesławiec” and is another element of the city’s consistently expanding recreational and sports infrastructure.

The project includes the construction of a full-size football field measuring 110 x 61 m with a modern artificial turf surface. The facility will be equipped with lighting and a sound system, CCTV monitoring and full technical infrastructure, enabling safe and comfortable use both during the day and after dark.

With supporters and sports facilities in mind, the project provides for the installation of a steel stand with 101 seats, shelters for substitute players and referees, as well as small architecture elements—bicycle racks, waste bins and a regulations board. The whole site will be complemented by ball-stop nets, fencing and new landscaping.

The works will also include the demolition of existing structures, land profiling, construction of access paths and driveways, as well as the comprehensive installation of electrical power, lighting, sound-system and lightning-protection systems.

The investment is to be completed within 12 months of the date the agreement is signed. The contractor is Tamex Obiekty Sportowe S.A. of Warsaw, while the investor is Gmina Miejska Bolesławiec.

The value of the construction works agreement is PLN 5,129,222.80.
