Bolesławiec road traffic police stopped an intoxicated man riding an electric scooter in our county. The police report: – The 33-year-old resident of Legnica had 1 per mille of alcohol in his system.
For riding a two-wheeled vehicle while intoxicated, the man was fined PLN 2,500.
Police remind us:
An electric scooter is a vehicle, and its rider is required to remain sober. Riding under the influence of alcohol significantly reduces concentration and reflexes, posing a real threat both to the rider and to other road users.
They also add:
We appeal for good judgment and responsibility—drunkenness at the wheel, including that of a two-wheeled vehicle, can end tragically.
