As determined by Bolesławiec police officers, the female driver of the Audi failed to yield the right of way. The reason? The passenger car had broken down and, as a result, collided with the truck’s trailer.
The woman was cautioned. Officers impounded the vehicle’s registration certificate.

As reported by the District Headquarters of the State Fire Service in Bolesławiec:
On 8 January 2026, during his day off, one of our firefighters, Senior Staff Sergeant Krzysztof Boluk 🧑🚒, found himself near a road accident. He did not remain indifferent—he immediately stopped, secured the scene and provided assistance to the injured person until the emergency services arrived🚒🚒🚑.
And adds:
This is yet another example that being a firefighter is not only a profession, but above all a mission and a lifelong commitment. Thank you for your exemplary response, composure and readiness to act, even while off duty.

The incident occurred on 8 January, in the late morning, at one of the most accident-prone intersections in Bolesławiec: Modłowa–Cieszkowskiego, near the new police headquarters. Two vehicles collided there: a truck and an Audi passenger car.
Fortunately, no one was seriously injured. Police are determining the causes and circumstances of the incident. Officers are appealing for caution and prudence on the road.
