It’s the perfect time to go all out on shopping: whether it’s a new pair of shoes or a supply of gingerbread cookies for the holidays—today, you can buy everything without any obstacles.
You could say it’s a kind of national sport: a sprint between the shelves, a marathon through shopping malls and retail parks, and a relay race at the checkouts. And since there are only three such opportunities a year, anyone who doesn’t make it today will have to wait until the next Sunday…
