Police officers from the Bolesławiec traffic police, while patrolling national road 94, noticed a moped carrying two people. The police headquarters:

During the inspection, it turned out that the driver—a 33-year-old resident of Bolesławiec County—was intoxicated, with 1.2 per mille of alcohol in his system.

And adds: – She was travelling with him and was also heavily under the influence of alcohol.

The officers quickly established that the vehicle had not had a valid technical inspection for more than 1.5 years and also had various deficiencies and faults disqualifying it from road use.

The outcome? The driver will be held responsible for driving while intoxicated, as well as for offences related to using a technically defective two-wheeled vehicle.
