Bolesławiec traffic police, while patrolling the Warta Bolesławiecka municipality, stopped a 37-year-old driver who did not have a driving licence. What is more, he was wanted by the District Court in Jelenia Góra, as he had 10 months of imprisonment to serve for theft.

But that was not all. The police:

In addition, having doubts about the 37-year-old's sobriety, the officers used a drug test, which returned a positive result, indicating that the driver was under the influence of amphetamine. Blood was taken from the man for further laboratory testing.

The 37-year-old was detained and taken to police custody. Driving under the influence of intoxicating substances and without a licence may result in further legal consequences.

Police remind us that driving a vehicle under the influence of drugs is a serious offense that poses a huge threat to all road users.
