As part of the project, the roadway was widened and a new pedestrian path was built, significantly facilitating and improving pedestrian movement along the road. In addition, a raised pedestrian crossing was created—a solution particularly effective in areas with increased traffic, improving visibility and forcing drivers to reduce their speed.

The pedestrian path was separated from the roadway by horizontal markings in the form of a solid line and reflective elements, which improve safety after dark. New vertical signage was also installed at the raised crossing, clearly informing drivers of the need to exercise particular caution.

The entire investment is intended to improve the safety of vulnerable road users, especially pedestrians. The project cost PLN 520,900, and its implementation was financed in equal parts by Bolesławiec County and the Municipality of Nowogrodziec.

The completed investment was officially accepted in the presence of the Starost of Bolesławiec County Tomasz Gabrysiak, Deputy Starost of Bolesławiec County Patryk Hałkaand Mayor of Nowogrodziec Joanna Świder. This is another joint investment by the local governments that has a tangible impact on the comfort and safety of county residents.
