On November 24, at around 6:00 p.m., an incident occurred in Wleń. The emergency services received a report that a kettle had been whistling in one of the apartments for thirty minutes, no one was responding, and someone was definitely inside.

Police officers and firefighters went to the scene. The officers knocked on the door, but no one opened it. A decision was made to force entry into the apartment.

As it turned out, there were... as many as three adults in the apartment in question—all clearly under the influence of alcohol.

The lwowecki.info portal reports:

According to the officers’ findings, the apartment’s owner had put water on to boil in the kettle and forgotten about it. She and the other residents—who were asleep—were in the adjacent room. No one heard the kettle whistling or the knocking on the door.

Fortunately, no one was hurt.

That was not the end of the matter, however. The owner of the apartment, outraged both by the emergency services’ intervention and by the fact that the lock on the door had been damaged, behaved arrogantly during the officers’ actions and failed to follow their orders. The result? The Lwówecki outlet: – The police officers prepared documentation against her with a view to submitting a motion to the court to impose a penalty.
