As officers determined:
The 23-year-old woman driving a Dacia failed to adjust her speed to the road conditions and, trying to avoid hitting a Mercedes, crossed into the opposite lane and collided head-on with an Audi traveling in the opposite direction.
Importantly, the Dacia also hit the Mercedes. The woman from the Dacia and the Audi driver were taken to hospital.
Fortunately, no one suffered more serious injuries. The incident was classified as a collision. The at-fault driver was fined.
(The aforementioned Mercedes was slowing down because it was approaching the place where the second of the aforementioned road incidents occurred. The woman driving the Fiat ended up in a roadside ditch. She was not injured).
Traffic has already been restored.
The incident occurred on Tuesday, November 25, in the morning. According to the officers’ preliminary findings, two road incidents took place on provincial road no. 350, between Dobra and Osiecznica, near the A4 viaduct:
- A car ended up in a ditch.
- Three cars collided.
Two people were injured and taken to hospital.
Police are determining the causes and circumstances of the incident. More information soon.
The road is blocked.
