As officials report:

From October 1 to November 12, 2025, firefighters in Bolesławiec County recorded:
• 78 fires in residential buildings,
• 5 people injured.

They added:

During the same period:
• we responded 25 times in connection with carbon monoxide emissions,
• 4 people suffered carbon monoxide poisoning.

Chimney soot fires? In just over a month:
• 13 such incidents,
• 1 person injured.
