This week’s incident took place in Świeradów-Zdrój. As reported by lwowecki.info:
In the mayor’s absence, her deputy was receiving residents. At one point, secretariat employees informed her that one of the residents had come to the municipal office with a dog. The man was asked to leave with the dog and was told that there was a queue for the mayor, as other residents were also in the corridor waiting for a meeting.
However, he had no intention of waiting. He announced that he would force his way through. The result? He came to the municipal office with a… chainsaw.
In a conversation with the Lwówek-based outlet, Deputy Mayor Dorota Marek noted that although the perpetrator did not start the saw, it was the first time she had truly felt threatened.

It is worth mentioning that the man is known to local residents and the local police for previous acts of aggression. At times he threw a paving stone; at others, he ran after tourists with a machete. He came to the municipal office because he wants to receive housing from the town. Officials admit that on that day they could smell alcohol on him.
The man with the saw was escorted out by the commander of the local municipal police. The matter is to be reported to the police.
