As we read on the social media profile of St. Luke’s Hospital:

We are proud to announce that our hospital has joined the prestigious Lower Silesian Stroke Network project, which has brought together 12 medical centers from across the region. The agreement was signed today (4 November – ed. note: istotne.pl) at the Faculty of Pharmacy of the Piastów Śląskich Medical University in Wrocław.

The facility adds:

The project has one goal – to save lives even faster and more effectively. Thanks to cooperation and modern solutions in the field of artificial intelligence, it will be possible to diagnose strokes instantly and begin treatment immediately.

As part of the network, three reference centers have been established, including one in Bolesławiec – at our St. Luke’s Hospital.

The county facility summarizes:

Together with the other hospitals in Lower Silesia, we will implement the project: “Improving the quality and availability of treatment in the acute phase of stroke through the use of artificial intelligence in diagnostics and the integration of activities within the stroke network.”

This is another step toward modern, effective and integrated care for stroke patients.
