Officers of the Criminal Division in Bolesławiec, working with police officers from the Łódź Central Police Investigation Bureau, recovered a vehicle originating from a crime.
The information gathered indicates that at the end of September this year, an Audi RS 6 was brought to one of Bolesławiec’s car workshops for a service. Police established that the car originated from a crime, and the man who had left it there was detained in Germany in connection with its theft, which had taken place during the holiday period.
Verification of the vehicle identification number in police systems unequivocally confirmed that it had been lost as a result of a crime.
Cooperation between officers from Bolesławiec and CBŚP led to the recovery of stolen property worth more than PLN 600,000, while the swift exchange of information made it possible to confirm that the 44-year-old man responsible for the theft had been detained by German law enforcement authorities.
