We reported on the matter on October 15 in the article “That’s our teacher” – nude photos of a man on students’ phones. Police are handling the case”. An investigation into the distribution of the photos is under way. The teacher and the school principal filed a report with the police. The school principal also notified the Education Superintendent’s Office.
“An ad hoc inspection will be conducted at the institution in the near future,” says Miłosława Bożek, spokesperson for the Education Superintendent’s Office.
The school and the Education Superintendent’s Office are not determining whether the photos of the nude man are photos of a teacher at this school. However, in accordance with the applicable regulations, the school principal checked the specific teacher in the Register of Sex Offenders to make sure that the named teacher was not listed.
After learning that nude photos purportedly showing one of the school’s teachers were being circulated, the principal notified the police of the possibility that a crime had been committed. The teacher did the same.
As the spokesperson for the Education Superintendent’s Office assures us, the school has taken steps to protect the students’ psychological well-being: a psychologist and the school counsellor held conversations with the students, and preventive classes on dangers in cyberspace were also organised.
A parent who contacted the editorial office claims that the children had already been sending one another these photos during the previous school year. The teacher allegedly knew about it. The matter came to light several months later, in September 2025. The parent also expressed displeasure that, after receiving the information, the principal allowed the teacher to continue having contact with students. This changed only after the publication of our article on October 15.
As we have learned, the teacher is currently not teaching at the school.
