On 19 and 20 October this year, two foreigners were detained in Bolesławiec County. The reason? Road-related crimes they had committed. Bolesławiec police: – A 26-year-old Ukrainian citizen was driving a vehicle with more than 1.5 per mille of alcohol in his system. The following day, a 53-year-old driver from Belarus was detained; he had more than 2.5 per mille of alcohol.

And added: – Yesterday, after carrying out the necessary procedures, police officers from the police station in Kruszyn brought both offenders before the District Court in Bolesławiec, where they received verdicts in their cases under expedited proceedings.

Immediately after the hearings, both foreigners were handed over to Border Guard officers from Zgorzelec in connection with the start of a procedure aimed at expelling them from the territory of Poland.
