Our information was confirmed. Several days after publication, the order’s superior imposed precautionary measures on Father Piotr, including a ban on exercising priestly ministry and wearing clerical attire.
A Church investigation into canonical offenses also began. Three months after it started, we asked about its progress.
Witnesses are currently being questioned in proceedings concerning the content published by the istotne.pl portal. This will take about a month, after which the documents will be sent to the appropriate Dicastery of the Holy See (an administrative office of the Catholic Church – editor’s note).
