The incident occurred on September 24 in Gradówek. – Police officers from the Police Station in Gryfów Śląski, travelling in an unmarked police car, noticed a female driver overtaking a line of vehicles in a prohibited area—over double solid lines – reports junior aspirant Olga Łukaszewicz, press officer for the Lwówek County Police Headquarters. – She did not even avoid the police car during this manoeuvre, which prompted the officers to react immediately.
During the traffic check, it turned out that the 32-year-old resident of Lubań County was under the influence of alcohol. The spokesperson said: – A breathalyser test showed 0.26 per mille of alcohol in her system.
However, that was not the end of her problems. Junior aspirant O. Łukaszewicz:
The police quickly established that the woman had as many as three active court-imposed driving bans.
Additionally, a check of the car in police databases showed that the vehicle was listed as missing. The car was secured in the police impound lot, while the driver was taken to a police cell, where further procedural activities are being carried out with her.
The 32-year-old will now face court for her irresponsible behaviour.
