The incident occurred on September 24, before 11:00 a.m., at the 58th kilometre of the A18 motorway. As a result of a tire blowout on a truck, its sand-loaded trailer overturned. The barriers separating the lanes in both directions were damaged.
As reported by the Bolesławiec police:
Traffic is moving along the emergency lanes.
It adds:
The disruptions may last several hours.
Fortunately, no one suffered more serious injuries.
The police appeal to drivers to exercise caution and follow the instructions of the emergency services.
