As established by the Bolesławiec police:
The driver of a military truck lost control of the vehicle due to a malfunction, hit a barrier and ended up in a ditch.
The incident occurred on 10 June, after 1:00 p.m., on the section of the A18 motorway leading towards Wrocław. According to information provided by the services, the military heavy goods vehicle (WP) left the motorway and ended up partially outside the carriageway. At the same time, the trailer is blocking traffic, making normal movement on this section of the route impossible.
Disruptions are occurring at the 69th kilometre of the A18, before the exit to Golnice. The relevant services are working at the scene, securing the area and preparing operations to remove the vehicle.
The most important information is that no one was injured in the incident. The military truck driver was not hurt, and the services reported no casualties.
It is not yet known how long the disruptions will last. According to the information provided, the motorway will remain blocked until the truck is removed and the road is fully reopened.
