Bolesławiec police officers conducted intensified operations aimed at determining the whereabouts and arresting people wanted by the justice system. The result? The police command reported: – Eleven wanted people aged between 27 and 49 were arrested. Warrants had been issued for two of them. Ten of those arrested were residents of Bolesławiec County, while one person came from Lubań County.
Among those arrested was a man convicted of driving while intoxicated, a driver who drove despite a court-imposed ban, as well as people facing charges for drug-related offences, criminal threats and insulting police officers.
Additionally, during the arrest of a 29-year-old, the officers seized marijuana and methamphetamine, which resulted in him being charged with drug possession.
Interestingly, a 40-year-old who had convictions for driving while intoxicated, failing to stop for a police check and violating a court-imposed ban tried to avoid arrest. Investigators reported: – After his vehicle became stuck in a wooded area, he continued his escape on foot, but was quickly arrested by police officers.
After being brought before the prosecutor's office and facing further charges, he was sent to a correctional facility for at least seven months.
