– The incident occurred in the morning, on a public road, just before the entrance to the town of Wojciechów. The woman driving a passenger car failed to adjust her speed to the traffic conditions, crossed into the opposite lane on a bend in the road and collided with a minibus travelling correctly – reports Subcommissioner Dominika Kwakszys, press officer for the Złotoryja County Police Headquarters.
Police officers were immediately called to the scene. The spokesperson said: – Fortunately, the participants in the collision did not suffer serious injuries and did not require hospitalization.
The woman responsible for the collision received a hefty fine and 10 penalty points. What is more, it turned out that she did not have a driving licence. The case will end up in court. The suspect faces detention, restriction of liberty or a fine of no less than PLN 1,500, as well as a court-imposed driving ban.
