The “Lex et Patria” eagle statuette was received from the Commander-in-Chief of the Military Gendarmerie, Brigadier General Mirosław Rozmus, by the brigade commander, Colonel Jarosław Kraszewski. The statuette presentation ceremony took place on 20 April in the auditorium of the Central Military Library in Warsaw.
This prestigious distinction for the Bolesławiec unit recognizes its compliance with the law and military discipline, promotion of the rule of law among soldiers, and efforts to reinforce the positive image of the Polish Armed Forces in society. The finalists of the competition are the most law-abiding units of the Polish Armed Forces and soldiers distinguished by an outstanding attitude in their professional service.
This is the first distinction awarded to the 23rd Silesian Artillery Regiment in this competition, which has been organized for six years.
